Rav Pinchas Chatzinoff
We are fortunate to have a Rav that is beloved by the entire Kehillah. Rabbi Chatzinoff is a Rav who is not only involved personally with every member of our Kehillah, but along with his Rebbetzin Donna, they commit time and energy to tzorchei tzibbur throughout the Five Towns.
Rabbi Pinchas Chatzinoff grew up in Long Beach, New York and received his semicha from Rabbi Nochum Zvi Kornmehl in 1992. He has published two seforim, the Imrei Fi on the weekly parsha, and Origins and Destiny, a compendium of the works of Rav Kornmehl zt”l on Bereishis. Rabbi Chatzinoff teaches numerous shiurim every week in gemara, halacha, hashkafah, and mussar. |
The Rav also has extensive experience as a mediator and arbitrator, and has served as a to’ein and dayan in numerous Beis Din proceedings. He also served for seven years as liaison to the Vaad HaKashrus of the Five Towns, of which he remains a member, and serves as a posek at the Far Rockaway Mikvah, and a senior advisor to Yeshiva Zichron Aryeh, Torah Academy for Girls, and Yeshiva of South Shore.
Rabbi Chatzinoff is a practicing attorney, as Counsel to the Law Offices of Steven Cohn, P.C. in Carle Place, handling matters ranging from commercial litigation to real estate transactions. |
Congregation Tifereth ZviOur congregation is focused on expanding the spiritual growth of all our members through Torah study, kavod hatefillah and ahavas yisroel. Our minyan is named in memory of Rav Nuchim Tzvi Kornmehl, zt"l (whose seforim were entitled "Tifereth Zvi"). Rav Kornmehl lived and taught in the building that now houses the Kehillah, and transformed the community into a vibrant torah center over the thirty years he lived there. The Minyan was formally organized in 1996, just a few years after Rav Kornmehl zt”l was niftar. Our Kehillah encourages a commitment to an exemplary tefilah experience, Kavod HaTorah, and a sense of dignity and affection for one another.
