Night Shiurim Next Week

 

Sunday:  the Hashkafah Chaburah (with Dr. Moishe Jeger) in the Chazon Ish's Emunah uBitachon will meet this Sunday at 7:30 PM.

 
Monday:  Rav's Shiur in Gemara Yoma will meet right after Maariv (approximately 8:20 PM). 

 
Wednesday:  -- Practical Applications of Choshen Mishpat: the Actual Case Files of a Beis Din (Sefer Mishpetei HaTorah)  meets Wednesday Night at 9:15 PM.

Thursday:   Chaburas Yir'ei Shomayim meets Thursday night 9:00-10:00 PM.

 

 

Women's Shiur :  the next monthly shiur for women will be iy"H  Tuesday evening, March 2, at 8:30 PM at the Shul.  We will be learning Sefer Shoftim Perek 5 and also studying in-depth a topic in practical halachah.

Beis Avel Information

The Gallis family will be sitting shiva for our esteemed member, Mr. Joel Gallis, a"h (Yosef ben Yaakov a"h) at their home, 5 Ivy Street, Cedarhurst, beginning this afternoon until Sunday morning. 

 

Minyanim will be as follows;

   Shacharis - Tuesday through Friday at 7 am; Sunday at 8 am.

   Mincha/Maariv - Monday through Thursday at 5 PM

 

Our Shul minyanim will continue as scheduled this week (and may need your chizuk), as we are working with with the Young Israel of Lawrence-Cedarhurst to provide Minyanim at the Beis Avel.

 

If you would like to cook or bake for the Beis Avel, please contact Mrs. Perel Ash at 569-8766.

We are saddened to inform you of the petirah of our esteemed friend and member, Mr. Joel Gallis, a"h (Yosef ben Yaakov a"h).

The levaya will be held tomorrow (Monday) morning at 9:30 a.m. at Boulevard Chapels in Hewlett, with kevurah to follow at Montefiore Cemetery in Springfield Gardens, Queens.   

The Gallis family will be sitting shiva at their home, 5 Ivy Street, Cedarhurst, beginning Monday afternoon (until Sunday morning).  Minyan times will be e-mailed tomorrow.
