June 21 Fishing Trip

Due to the great interest expressed in the shul's Father-Son/Daughter Fishing Trip, scheduled b'ezras Hashem for June 21, the boat is filling up fast.  For those who have, or wish to, reserve places on the trip, kindly confirm that reservation by preparing a check ASAP for $35 per person, payable to "Congregation Tifereth Zvi" and delivering it to Commodore Naftali Bennett, or mailing it to the shul at 26 Columbia Avenue.

Monday is a civil holiday, and we will have a Sunday tefillah schedule.

Sunday and Monday Shacharis at 8:00 a.m., followed by breakfast, the shiur in Gemara Berachos, and the Mussar Vaad (Mesillas Yesharim), and concluding at 10:15 a.m.

 

Sunday and Monday Mincha/ Maariv this week is at 8:00 PM

Sunday:  the Hashkafah Chaburah (with Dr. Moishe Jeger) in Derech Hashem will meet this Sunday 7:15 PM until Mincha

Father-Son/Daughter Fishing Trip!

 

Congregation Tifereth Zvi is pleased to announce

a shul Father – Son/Daughter Fishing Trip

(yes, that means you can bring your daughter - limited to age 12 and under)

planned for Sunday June 21st.

 

The tentative plan for that day is to adjust the schedule as follows:

Sunday morning shiur at 5:45 a.m. (you read it right)

Shacharis at 6:30 a.m.

Miss Freeport leaves the dock in Freeport at 8:00 a.m.

 

We will have the boat until Noon, so all the fathers

can be back to help the mothers for the rest of the day.

 

Cost: $35 per person (same for adult and child) includes rod and bait.

Drinks will be provided but feel free to bring your own snacks.

 

Please reply to this e-mail (office@tzminyan.org) so we can plan accordingly

and no one is left swimming alongside.
