After a 5:45 a.m. gemara shiur this morning, and a 6:30 a.m. Shacharis, we made our way to Freeport an our vessel. We were surprised that the crew had come down with an illness (Swine Fluke?) and we made our way to the fabulous "Captain Lou" who led us on our excursion. The weather cleared before we left, and we were B"H treated to a halacha seder on Tefillas HaDerech, calm seas, happy children, a confused Rav ("everyone was early!?") and relaxed fathers. Oh, yes, and there were fish. Our families made a beautiful kiddush Hashem, and had a fabulous time. If you missed it, then for you, this was the one that got away . . . .
Many, many thanks to Naftali Bennett for doing all the planning and work to make this happen!
