Our congregation meets every Shabbos and Yom Tov, and is especially devoted to kavod hatefillah and ahavas yisroel. Our minyan is named in memory of Rav Nuchim Tzvi Kornmehl, zt"l (whose seforim were entitled "Tifereth Zvi"). Rav Kornmehl lived and taught in the building that now houses the minyan, and transformed the community into a vibrant torah center over the thirty years he lived there. The Rav was niftar in 1992, and the minyan began later that year. The mara d'asra of the kehilla, which comprises over 50 families, is Rabbi Pinchas Chatzinoff, who was a talmid of Rav Kornmehl.
Our kehillah is unique in the community, in that we have no political infrastructure, nor do we assess dues or fees. Our only request is a commitment to an exemplary tefillah experience, kavod haTorah, and a sense of dignity and affection for one another.
